just_kaye has been doing these, so I've decided to do them. But I'm not doing them every day for 30 days, just going to answer every question now. I'll never remember to do it every day, and it kind of irritates me to do a whole post for one dinky little question. :)

"Jeopardy" by Greg Kinn, because of the video. I didn't really get that the video was about being trapped in marriage and all the imagery creeped me out. Just watch it, you'll see what I mean. (I imagine someone has uploaded it to YouTube.)

That's just my name for it, because some of the questions are very vague. O_o
Day 01 – Introduce yourself
My name is Laurel. I like to write stories. The rest is too numerous to tell in answer to a meme. Stick around and you'll learn more. :)
Day 02 – Your first love
I've really never had one. Had a couple little boyfriends when I was 12-13 but they didn't really mean anything. Definitely felt some long-distance love for someone I knew I could never have, but I think I've outgrown him too. He's a totally moody bitch on FB who doesn't seem to know how to take a joke anymore, and it's really turned me off. That and a few other things. Made me realize that we just don't have much of a connection anymore.
So, writing. Writing is my first love.
Day 03 – Your parents
I had one of each. They've both passed on now. My mom was from Dallas and my dad grew up in Virginia. He moved here for his job and they met at a New Year's Eve party. They were married less than a year later. I have a million great stories about them. They were very loving and I miss them all the time. :)
Day 04 – What you ate today
Hamburger Helper Stroganoff, but with tuna instead of hamburger and I threw a cup of rice in to make it stretch.
Day 05 – Your definition of love
Never getting tired of having someone around. They screw up but you can't help but forgive them because you understand why they did it, that people make mistakes. Caring for someone unconditionally. Feeling a connection with someone else that is strong but you really can't explain why. Spending time making someone else feel special without expecting something in return all the time.
Day 06 – Your day
...has been like any other day so far.
Day 07 – Your best friend
I've known my friend Kaye for over 20 years. She knows practically everything about me and I know I can talk to her about just about anything without being judged. :) Love you Kaye!
Day 08 – A moment

About what? I have many about many things. Be more specific.
Day 10 – What you wore today
Purple shirt and black shorts, plus underwear.
Day 11 – Your siblings
One of each. We don't talk much. I don't really get along with them well most of the time. They're just very uncaring and treat me like a burden, which I'd rather not experience on purpose if I can help it.
Day 12 – What's in your bag
I don't really carry a purse anymore after being mugged a few years ago. I take a backpack with me to the grocery store and put groceries in it. So I'll say groceries.

To be happy and stress free. To be a successful fiction writer.

Okay, I'll just pick one. I went out with my sister and a couple friends. One of them went behind a dumpster to pee, so my sister turned the headlights on, brought the car around, and put the headlights on her. Scared the shit out of her, muhahahahaha.
