yuletide, yay! It's here for your reading enjoyment. Paul and Alva get lumps of coal in their stockings. They were very naughty.
The AO3 server is actually working pretty damn well for me this year. They must've added a hamster to the wheel! Is everyone else having problems or navigating pretty well?
(HOWEVER, I am having massive problems viewing the regular list of fandoms, and have been since about Tuesday. When I go into a subcategory of the fandoms, like TV Shows, it tries to load a new type of listing with the letters across the top for you to click. But it won't load. I've waited a full five minutes before giving up, and the page still isn't loaded to the point that I can actually read it or scroll down at all. I had to look at the static page of Yuletide fandoms in order to see what fandoms were represented.)
I'm kind of disappointed. We got two nice "Miracles" stories in the archive, but other than that, there's absolutely nothing in any of my fandoms for me to read. I don't mean that I don't like any of the stories, but that there's 0 stories in any other fandom that I like. I'm not someone who reads stories in fandoms I don't know, so after I read the two "Miracles" stories and looked through the fandoms list to see what else was in there, I was done in like two hours. There was a lot more that I was interested in last year. I don't know if we'll ever top the number of "Miracles" fics we got for 2009 Yuletide. Was it 8? And was it last year?
Oh well.
