sailorhathorI think the reason that (some) movie reviews written by amateurs online make me so mad is because it just demonstrates to me how people are, in general, freakin' sheep! "Hey, someone on tv or someone that I perceive to be 'in power' said this movie sucks, so I'm going to think it sucks too so I won't stick out! No I'm not going to provide any well thought out reasons for why I didn't like it, I'm just going to spout the same five generic phrases everyone else has about it." Same goes for major masses of people who love a particular movie. (Not all! I'd be insulting myself there if I meant it that way.) Someone whom has been deemed the leader tells everyone how to feel, and everyone falls in line to fit in. IT DRIVES ME NUTS. Always has. Always will. I'm just honest about how I feel, which unfortunately seems to contradict the mass opinion quite often.
In other news, does anyone really think this new Lysol Ready Brush is some sort of remarkable new invention, the "revolution in toilet bowl cleaning technology"? So now a brush and foaming cleaner is "technology"??!! It's a toilet brush with a hole in one end! You squeeze a trigger and cleaner comes out of the brush. Big deal! So it keeps you from having to pick up the can of cleaner and spray it in the toilet bowl! How many times have I said to myself gee, I wish I didn't have to actually pick up this can of cleaner and spray it under the toilet bowl rim! Instead, it'd be much easier to just pick up the brush! Which I'm sure has now been made heavier and more cumbersome to hold due to the extra plastic on the handle and the spray can! Somehow I don't think this thing is worth as much as they're charging...
