Today is my 39th birthday! The last year I can consider myself not over the hill. :D I don't have to work, so I'm going shopping and hopefully out to dinner. ^_^ It's also Jon Bon Jovi's birthday. Since I became a huge Bon Jovi fan when I was 11, I have thought it was totally awesome that we share a bday. Of course, he's older than me - he turns 50 today! Wowee! I'm hoping to get some world class relaxing and some writing done today, but we'll see.

Anyway, I saw this survey on [livejournal.com profile] arguingvitality's journal and thought it would be interesting to do. :) I don't know who wrote the questions.

1. In one sentence, who are you? I don't need a sentence, I just need one word: Different.

2. Why do you matter? Because I've overcome many trials and I'm still kickin'.

3. What is your life motto? o/` Welcome to wherever you are. This is your life, you made it this far. Welcome, you gotta believe, that right here, right now, you're exactly where you're supposed to be. Welcome to wherever you are... o/` ~ "Welcome to Wherever You Are," Bon Jovi

4. What's something you have that everyone wants? A really great DVD collection (most of them homemade copies of stuff, but still, they're mine).

5. What is missing in your life? Blood family.

6. What's been on your mind most lately? Lack of money for everything I need.

7. Happiness is a ________? Balance

8. What stands between you and happiness? Enough money to feel completely stable and secure.

9. What do you need most right now? Didn't I just answer this question?

10. What does the child inside you long for? Pretty dolls

11. What is one thing right now that you are totally sure of? I'm a good writer.

12. What's been bothering you lately? The fact that you keep asking the same questions, only slightly reworded. ;)

14. What has fear of failure stopped you from doing? Trying to get published.

15. What will you never give up on? My individuality.

16. What do you want to remember forever? My parents.

17. What makes you feel secure? Big warm blankie.

18. Which activities make you lose track of time? The internet. A warm bath. Writing. Good conversations.

21. What are you most grateful for? This job. Loyal friends.

22. What is worth the pain? Dallas

50. What's the most valuable thing you own? Childhood pictures.

51. If you had to move 3000 miles away, what would you miss most? Depends on which direction I am going. If it's south, it would probably be that most people don't speak English. If it's east or west, it would probably be that I no longer have a house, since I'm floating out in the ocean. If it's north, it would probably be the use of my hands and feet, since they're frozen.
