Had a dream last night that I was out shopping with my dad at Mervyn's (which I know is because I watched "Touch" and there's a part where Juvie is walking through a mall in front of a huge Mervyn's sign), and I went around a wall in a circle and when I came back, he had become Tracey, who was smoking a big doobie and trying to pick up some guy. XD I started shopping for guinea pigs, which were kept under the clothes racks, so I'm crawling around on the floor... and I find a Siamese-colored piggie, which is one of my dream finds when it comes to piggies. I'm carrying him around and he's really gentle, then I try to pick up another piggie and he goes nuts, scratching and squealing. Tracey gets a phone call from her dad telling her to bring the car back because he's home from work and needs it, and she takes on this "tough shit" attitude and hangs up on him. I roll my eyes because I know this means there will be a fight when we finally get back to her house, then I woke up needing to pee. I think I have had the guinea-pigs-kept-under-clothes-racks thing in dreams before. Strange symbol.
Had Thanksgiving dinner today. Well, technically yesterday. HAPPY BLACK FRIDAY, SHOPPERS! It was good. Broccoli stuff was really oniony. But good. Even the ham was good. Kaye is here. We watched mucho movies so I could get copies of a few she had that I didn't that I wanted for various reasons, and a few that she wanted off me. Lemme see if I can remember everything we watched...
Chill Factor (I successfully foisted this movie on someone else! WOOHOO! She thought it was funny too, but probably not as much as I did.)
Final Destination 2 (COOL gruesome deaths!! BUT MY FAVORITE CHARACTER DIED!!)
Jeepers Creepers (Slightly lame, but cool monster. BUT MY FAVORITE CHARACTER DIED!!)
Pitch Black (Have seen before, but didn't have the uncut version. MY FAVORITE CHARACTER DIIIIIED!!! Three in a row!!)
Well, we can remedy that, can't we? ¬_¬ Next I ask her what she wants to watch, and she replies the movie that I taped for her, "Ride with the Devil." Kaye wanted it because a favorite actor of hers, Jonathan Brandis, has a small part. (And :( for poor Jon, who committed suicide only 2 weeks ago) I was perfectly happy with watching it because, well, if you check the cast list you'll understand. I'll talk more in detail about the movie tomorrow or Saturday sometime, but suffice it to say...

It's a frickin' conspiracy to bum Laurel out. Then we watched "Scary Movie 2" and "Toy Soldiers" (one of my favorite action movies, which I converted Kaye to, heh). In "Toy Soldiers," ... a character I felt indifferent about died. So, we'll end on that note. ;)
Except to say that I am thankful for... well, good friends. Creativity. More time. The generosity of nice people. That practically every male in "Ride with the Devil" had long, hot hair. That dude in the movie whose name we didn't know so he just got referred to as "Cutie Pie" for 2 hours until someone finally called him Pit. And I'll be thankful if I don't have nightmares about that amputation scene tonight.
