When I was under the age of ten, my walls had pictures of unicorns on them. My sister and I shared a room for years, and we had this picture on one wall that our mom had picked out of a little girl and boy where the boy was giving the girl a balloon. I can still kind of picture it in my head. I have no idea what happened to it. I think when we outgrew it, our mom gave it to someone.
Once I entered the tweens, my walls became plastered with rock posters and pinups from magazines. They were worthy of display because I loved the bands and thought all the guys were hot and sexy. :D My mom didn't like how my sister and I pretty much wallpapered our rooms with these posters and pics (she didn't think it looked good), but she allowed us to decorate our rooms how we wanted. I even used to tape pics to the sides of my furniture. There wasn't a surface safe from the image of Bon Jovi and Def Leppard. :D
