I've met a lot of musicians over the years, but I guess the most brief and "brush with celebrity" one would be Michael Schenker. Nancy and I met him after a UFO concert about ten or so years ago. I just went for the hell of it; never been a huge fan or anything. After the concert, the band was meeting fans and signing things out of the tour bus. I remembered how my sister loved Michael Schenker and how she always insisted on shaking the hands of musicians that she met. It was her thing. So, instead of trying to find something for MS to sign, I simply asked to shake his hand, mostly so I could go nyah nyah to my sister about it. :D And then I promptly forgot to tell her. Not sure she would care anymore anyway, as she's too "grown up" now for most of the things she used to love when she was a teenager. :P
He was very nice. :)
