spn_reversebang was posted yesterday. This was actually the first prompt I made, but the second one posted. It's about a magician. And poly shenanigans. It's SPN RPF.

About "Supernatural" lately... just a couple of short comments.

I'm not trying to be one of those fans who hates any woman the show puts with Sam and Dean. I'm not like that. But, they keep making some pretty poor casting decisions when it comes to their serious relationships. Now, I loved Jess. She had very nice chemistry with Sam. But Amelia? Can she please just go away already? I mean, watching her and Sam interact is like watching two brick walls talk, if brick walls could talk. There's just nothing. It's below no chemistry. I have never seen two people have less chemistry in my life. I couldn't even believe them as friends. Hell, I can barely believe them as acquaintances. It's painful to watch them pretend to care for each other. I just want her to go back to Don and be done with her. It was like season 6 when they kept bringing Lisa back into the picture. Dean had a little more chemistry with her, but it was still annoying because a whole year had gone by and the writers had done little to make us feel that year. I have zero interest in the Sam/Amelia relationship. Heck, Sam's had more chemistry with random one-episode women.
I'm not sure whose fault it is. I'm not sure the actress who plays Amelia is right for this part. There was one scene where she was telling Sam how messed up she was and the lines sounded ridiculously trite to me. I realized that it wasn't the lines that were the problem, but the delivery. So, I think this relationship could have been more interesting if Amelia had been played by someone better for this kind of part.
Another thing I'm tired of is the writers giving Sam and Dean reasons to hate each other to create conflict. Enough. When are they going to come back together and be brothers again? They tease us every season about that happening, and instead, they create more and more hate between them. I'm just tired of it. Sam is so goddamn jealous of Dean's friendship with Benny. Dean is hurt because Sam did nothing to try to get him out of Purgatory. The writers are writing so much stuff that contradicts the other seasons that it's making me angry. I understood why Sam did most of the wrong shit he did in the past, but I don't get this one. It's like the writers are doing everything they can to make Sam look like a douche. :P He stood there and watched Castiel do a spell to open a door to Purgatory. The writers can't even give a little lip service to Sam saying that he tried to replicate that spell to go in and get Dean out, but he couldn't find all the ingredients? How much screen time would that line have taken? Shit.
Anyway, I still like the show, but the writers are pissing me off. They have a tendency to do that a lot.
