sailorhathorHello Yuletide Author/Santa-type person! This is my letter to you to give you some idea of the kinds of stories I like.
In general, I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to pairings, if there's going to be one. Het, slash, femmeslash, threesomes, poly groupings, it's all good. I'm squicked by the extreme stuff; I like my bondage vanilla and flowery, and I'm not into bodily excretions that normally make their home in the sewer. Orgasmic secretions are great and much appreciated, though. :D I read some of everything - consensual, seduction, dub-con, and non-con.
Some of these requests have nothing to do with sex, though. :)

Father Knows Best (TV):
Like this one! This request is going to sound crazy, just so you know. Don't panic.
My fondest request for this fandom would be to see what the Andersons' lives would be like if they were dealing with something totally unexpected from a show like this, such as... what if they were a demon hunting family, like on "Supernatural"? (If you do a crossover, what if they interacted with Henry Winchester and the Men of Letters?) What if they investigated haunted houses and dealt with killer ghosts? What if Betty was a vampire slayer? Can you imagine how Bud would feel if he had to not only deal with an overachieving older sister, but one who was a better hunter than him, or one who had saved the world? Jim's a demonologist? An exorcist? Kathy is psychic? There are so many possibilities. How would all of these possible situations be handled differently, it being the 1950s vs. now?
I know, it's nuts, but I have these wonderful mental pictures of Betty and Jim with weapons and Betty delivering some colossal 1950s-style ass kickings.
(I think the only thing I wouldn't like here would be a zombie apocalypse or superhero AU.)
If this is something you simply can't wrap your head around, any story in the same basic vein as the following eps would be awesome.
Favorite episodes/moments:
1). The one where the family acted out the plot of the murder mystery show they'd been watching when the TV went out
2). The one where they listened to the broadcast from the boat caught in the storm and got totally overinvolved
3). The ep from season one where Jim's friend's wife, Jill, stayed with the family. We never saw Jill again. More interaction with Jill/a where is she now? sort of thing would be cool.
4). The ep where Kathy broke Betty's treasured pen, and Bud blackmailed her into being his slave, driving her to eventually go after him with a baseball bat
5). Ep where Betty was going out for the lead in the college dance/musical play and was up against a blonde girl who claimed she never practiced but was still a phenomenal dancer. Where is this girl now? What is her life like? I thought she was really interesting.
6). There's an ep somewhere where a girl said something negative about Margaret and Betty said if she said anything else bad about her mother, she would slap her face. Woo! Go Betty! (Love Betty being a moral badass but also being a totally overdramatic teenage girl.)
The Andersons being the same loving, protective, quirky family as always would make me a happy camper. You can find several clips from this show on Youtube. I didn't see any full episodes. I know Netflix has the DVDs; I don't know about streaming.
The Following:
Oh God, how do I explain what I want here...? Um, okay, the show is twisted. So I would really like some twisted fanfic. A few ideas:
1. Mark and Luke growing up. How did they become such casual killers? Why did Mark develop the phobia of being touched? What made them so twisted? Twincest is okay if you're comfortable writing it, but it's not required.
2. Mark and Luke capture Mike and um, tied up dub-con ensues. Go as far as you're comfortable with. However, I'm squicked by too much physical torture.

bm_shipper had an idea during the first season that I liked so much that I asked her if it was okay if someone wrote it if they were so inclined, and she said okay. Her idea, which is slightly AU but could be made to fit into canon with some creativity, is that Jacob was actually working with the FBI undercover to infiltrate Joe's cult. He was also romantically involved with Mike. OOH don't you see the first season in a whole new light now?? It would have explained a lot of his behavior, wouldn't it?
If none of these ideas spark your muse, just about anything concerning Mark and Luke or Mike would make me happy. They are my favorite characters on the show.
Please, no major character death (except for canon deaths).
Five Nights at Freddy's:
I just want something damn frickin' scary here. What must the security guard have to deal with if he actually leaves the office? What does he see? What if he brings a friend along to keep him company? What happens to them? The very idea of someone being in that place with large animatronic robots wandering around is scary enough - the idea of them having to go outside what is essentially the "panic room" and be out there with the 'bots... in the dark... with limited power... is absolutely terrifying. If you can make me scared to go to bed after reading your story, I will love you forever.
No pressure, though. Just do your best. :D (Or your worst?)
Oh, I'd also love a story about the original employees back in the day slowly realizing that these robots are becoming dangerous. What happened the first few times? Why was it covered up to the point that it's allowed to continue?
Miracles:
I have some very specific requests that I'll talk about first. You of course do not have to do them at all since they involve crossovers and a character who was not nominated. I'm just prompting you in case any of this strikes your muse.
1. My OTP is Paul/Dean Winchester from "Supernatural," so that's always good. ALWAYS. I would also love to see Castiel get involved. What kind of interaction would a guy like Paul and an angel have? What if there was Paul/Castiel, or Paul/Dean/Castiel? What if there was special angel sex? Oooooooh... shiny.
2. I'd love to read a character study sort of story about Paul's mother, Theresa. (Her name was on his dossier in "The Friendly Skies.") What did she go through, raising Paul alone in the 1970s, and then finding out she has terminal cancer? Where did Paul's father go? Why did she make the decision for Paul to grow up in Poppi's orphanage? Exploooooore.
If you cannot or do not want to write either of these prompts, I'd love some good ol' casefic involving a supernatural something that is not as often explored in shows like this. Either that or a creature that could bring about, as they said on "The Simpsons," some "sexy results." XD
