7 Lines from Page 7 Meme

sailorhathorI've seen several people on my fiend's list post this and I felt like doing it too. :) The aim is to post 7 lines from page 7 of a WiP. Of course, these were 7-8 lines in the original document, but may not look that way here since the formatting is different.
This first one is actually all original characters. These characters were created back in the late 1990's but lately, they've been coming back to me and doing info dumps. I'm going to start writing my own new stuff about them to have something to do with all this new information and new ideas.
I wasn't sure how to count out the 7 lines, and I actually wound up having to do 8 to not end in the middle of a sentence. I'm sure you guys will forgive me. :)

The general title of this whole thing is "The Search for Outer Planet Intelligence."
"I suppose, but..." Minky grinned ferally. "...you could try to help that along. I know a guy who could get a note delivered to him for you."
Edge stopped eating, stopped moving, for a moment as the wheels in his mind worked. "Really?"
"Uh huh." Watching him, Minky squirmed in her seat, hoping that by nightfall, she'd have things set up for another encounter, and the creation of another crystal.

And from Part III of "The Apostle of Tarsus," which is an SPN/Miracles crossover.
She kept repeating a sound like "Paul," but it came out more like, "Pau!" People had scattered when she tossed the soda and popcorn into the air; now they formed a loose circle around her and Dean, gawking, wondering what was going on. Dean supported her back with one arm. Tress jerked against him, one arm flopping on the pavement and both of her legs shaking rapidly.
Dean began to scream my name. "Sam! Saaaaam!"
