Wonderfalls

I've been seeing commercials for this new show "Wonderfalls" that is supposed to start in March. I like the concept, what I know of it anyway, about this girl and inanimate objects start talking to her (okay that's all I know); the effects looked really cool, with the cow creamer thing talking and stuff. What I don't like, though, is the commercial makes the show look like it's all haha funny, poor girl has inanimate objects talking to her, when a show like that should be spooky and dark as hell! XD I would much prefer a spookier tone to a concept like that; to make it all light and constantly funny ruins it. I like some humor thrown in - Buffy was a really dark show but it was also one of the funniest on tv. But I don't prefer that something like that be all funny. I mean, she's got coffee creamers talking to her! Is she mental? That would be so much better dark!

I'll watch the show and give it a chance. I'm just angsting over a good idea possibly being used for purposes I do not currently like the sound of.
