Okay, I feel I have given "Wonderfalls" a fair chance now. I can now stop watching and feel totally good about it. ^_^ This is my blanket statement about shows like this:

You receive a wonderfully wrapped Christmas present. It is wrapped in some of the most beautiful, expensive paper you have ever seen, with a gorgeous bow, sparkly ribbon, and even a card so touching it brings tears to your eyes. You open the present to find out... that it's socks.

Yes, "Wonderfalls" is socks. It has creative packaging and great effects. I love the setting. I love the fountain with the statue. I love the slide show thing, when scenes change and such. I love the fact that inanimate objects talk to her. I like Diana Scarwid. But the stories are freakin' snoozefests. They're just not that funny. They're dull. The girl does things that make no sense. If a lion figurine wouldn't stop talking to you, would you keep it in your home? I'd throw it out. Then something else would probably start talking to me, fine, but it's not like I'd know that. I wouldn't keep the one thing that talked to me first in my house if it was keeping me up all night singing. I'd break the fucker to pieces. "Shut up shut up shut up!" ::crash break smash!::

The conclusion of tonight's ep was just mind-numbingly stupid. The girl gets an article published in a national magazine and gives the credit away to someone else so she can get her crappy retail job back?!?! Is she MENTAL?!?! Retail is a level of HELL!

And why do higher powers always go to lazy, ambitionless people to get their good deeds done anyway? Wouldn't it make more sense for a go-getter who actually wants to get things done to be chosen to GET THINGS DONE? Okay, sure, God is trying to teach these shiftless people something by forcing them to do Her work, sure sure, fine. What I'd like to see is... nevermind, I'm using this in a story. >:D

I really wish they hadn't wasted all this great packaging on such a dull show.

Ahhh. I love babbling about tv shows.
