A post as an excuse to use an icon
Apr. 28th, 2004 09:42 pmI don't have much to talk about, just babbling. Just wanted an excuse to use this icon already. I love sarcastic robots.
So, thank you, Angel, for finally saying something I can like you for. Illyria was getting on my nerves with the never-ending speech too; good going, telling her to shut up. I usually think she's kind of cool, but tonight she was nearly insufferable in places. Poor godling wasn't feeling good. But, no thank you, Angel, for still being ugly and ruining the effect.
My brother is coming over tomorrow to put in the shower bar. Wee, good to get it done. We also bought 6 bags of top soil and I'm going to put it up against the house, filling in the cracks in the foundation, so the water will stop coming in under the rug when it rains. We've actually still got a wheelbarrow here, amazing! I unloaded the 40 pound bags from the trunk. Go me! They were heavy, but I did it. ::cradles 40 pound dirt baby:: Aboo boo boo, who's a filthy little bag of dirt? You are! You are, that's right!
I'm not sure when I'll do this, depends on when/if it rains in the next few days. And when Kaye comes to visit. :)
I have done more scanning and screencapping, but the scanner was pissing me off big time tonight because it kept pooping out after every scan. It gets sooooo tedious to have to keep rebooting and turning the scanner off and back on. It's not the action so much as the waiting that goes with it. Because it can't just reboot, it has to think about it for several minutes. It eats up time like mad! But I am determined to get something done tonight that really feels like I got something done. I had that feeling last night after getting some screencaps that came out better than I thought they had, so hopefully, the same thing will happen tonight.
God, there are so many other piddly little things I could babble about, but I need to stop myself because I know I'll go on and on and on.
