Oh, so aol, you are unable to open mail, are you? Oh so you wanna be that way? That's the whole reason I popped back online. What, you still won't open it? Yo mama! >:( It's looks like interesting mail too. Gimme my freakin mail you bitch!

Ohhhh well. This day ended up better than it started. There were a couple more stupid annoying things--first, the stupid company I buy web space from charged me for a "Disk Space Overage" again. Morons. I thought we had this settled last month. But here that stupid charge is again. I sent them another fucking email asking why they can't get their heads out of their asses (although I was a little nicer :P); I'll see what they say. I am just so freakin tired of dealing with these idiots; I wish I had the money to move my entire site to a worthwhile company that knows what the hell it's doing.

Then I went to the bathroom and discovered there was no toilet paper in the cabinet next to the toilet. ARGH that is so annoying and stupid, just makes you feel like an idiot. You have to go out into the hall where the rest of the toilet paper is with your pants around your ankles to get more freakin paper. BLAAAAAAAAH. It's more funny when it's not you it happens to.

Then I was doing something with the vcr and I had it on Cinemax, and "Monster's Ball" came on. I had to turn it off after 45 minutes because it was about to make me bawl. Don't read the rest of this paragraph unless you want the movie spoiled for you. First off, it's very very slow, so I don't think I'd ever watch it again. Second, there are several gut-wrenching events in just the first 45 minutes. After the little boy got hit by a car and died, I just couldn't take anymore. His mom was so mean to him, and he was so sweet--he couldn't help being fat. It was obvious that eating was comforting to him, because he was so young and his life was so messed up, with a dad on death row. The kid loved his dad so much. And this was his life--mom smacking him around because he hid candy bars around the house, his dad gets executed, and then he gets hit by a car and dies. I'm tearing up again thinking about it! Of course Mom cries her eyes out and gets all hysterical when she finds out her child has died, and I'm like maybe you should have loved him more, then you wouldn't have all the inevitable regrets you're now going to have!! Death is hard enough when you're GOOD to the person who died. I just couldn't take the rest of that movie.

After that, I worked on the video card thing some more, and I got it working! I had to change how I had the vcr hooked up to it. Then viola, there's the picture from the video tape on my computer screen! And it looked good, too! I made about 20 screen captures--I was having fun! ^_^ Why didn't I hook this thing up years ago? Deedle deedle dee, happy happy happy. I'm gonna make more tomorrow. Now I just gotta get myself on a worthwhile server where I can have some actual space, and I can start the other websites I've been mulling in my head for years and years. There is a definite lack of 70s pop culture on the internet (at least, *my* 70s pop culture). Like, have you ever seen a "Danger Island" website? Didn't think so.

This other vcr, it's definitely gone south. ::sigh:: The loading mechanism is totally fucked. That'll teach me to buy the cheapest one at Wal-Mart; this piece of crap didn't even last a year. Man... everytime I get a little money, I get punished by several necessities suddenly running out. I really could have used that extra vcr, crappy as it was. My black ink cartridge in my printer just ran out the other day. I haven't had a color one for eons. Sometimes I wonder if things are ever going to get better financially.

Oh well. ::hugs video card::
