sailorhathorThe cable box in the living room is working now, and it was a VERY easy fix too. Now I feel dumb for putting it off for so long. I called and had them reset the box, POOF! Fixed. Didn't even have to talk to a live person, just pushed 3 on the phone when the automated service told me to and the box was reset. ^____^
For some reason, this has been a hard week to get myself motivated to do certain things. Like, some things, no problem. Other things, blaaaaaaah, I dunwanna. ::put off put off put off:: Like the cable box; it hasn't been working properly since Saturday, and I just finally got it all squared away today. Sure, I piddled around with it all week, trying to figure out what the problem was, but it was really hard to make myself call them. I don't know what the problem was; guess I'm just in a mood. Part of it was I have another box in my bedroom, so it was easy to put it off and just watch tv in here instead. ::shrug:: It's really weird for me though, because I'm usually so much more motivated to get things done. Then again, I was afraid the problem with the box would require an in-home visit, which would mean having to clean up in front of the tv, which would explain the putting of it off. Dread!
I should clean it up anyway. :P Cluttered.
A public thank you has to go out to Bon Jovi for writing this song I am rocking out to now, "Just Older"! This is MY song. Seriously. They wrote it for me. ;) Jon said in an interview that they wrote this song for the fans who have been there since the beginning. It's been 20 years and we're all a bit older now. I LIVE this song. It makes me feel SOOOO good to listen to it. I remember being 11 and discovering Bon Jovi through "Runaway" and just LOVING them, and my older sibs gave me SO much flack for liking them because they were a "pussy" band, but of course I got even with sis when she got into Stryper, BAHAHAHAHA. >:) Anyway, I LOVE anyone who can acknowledge their fans to that degree, to write a song just for them. It rawks. Ever hear a song and something about it is just so YOU that you hold it to your heart with a little smile? This is one of those songs.
This weekend is A-kon. ::whimper:: It's going on right now. ::whimper:: I have $2 to my name. ::triple whimper:: Me no go.

Kaaaaaaaye, I got angelfood cake mix and icing at the store. You have to come over so I can make it and we can pig out sometime before it goes bad. So, sometime before mid-2005. Hope I have given you enough notice. ;)
