Iiiiiiiii LIKE it!
Jun. 9th, 2004 09:48 pmI now officially respect the dudes who wrote this mini-series because every time I come up with a hole in the plot, they fill it. I really hope they can pull off a great ending. It'd be disappointing otherwise.
For a while tonight, I was thinking, Wait, Roy knows where Claudia is - he's had her and J.T. followed. Why doesn't he just go and get her already? Then they answered that tonight. Niiiice! But Angus has hardly been in this! Okay, I understand why, because of who his character is, but couldn't they put in some scenes of good ol' Roy smackin' his lackeys around? That'd be cool! Okay, I like actors who can play evil that well and have such fun doing it. Angus is playing Roy so smarmy and suave and as such an evil mothafucka. I love it! I was dying laughing during his ONE SCENE tonight (::grumble::) because he was having such a good time dancing to that bom tiggy tiggy song, being a smarmy asshole, and smacking J.T. around. His entire performance screamed, "I am powerful and I LOVE it!" Which is so great, because if you're a mob boss and someone is trying to steal yo woman, that is how you would act toward them. I loved it when he hit him with the phone. Woo! XD Of course, he probably will die, because the story demands that The Evil Jerk die, and I can deal with that. I'm just enjoying it as they go along.
What was up with that one stripper with the toy gun, though? Deer antlers and a gun? Huh?! What kind of stripper act has she got going, and who's getting off to it?! "I get off on deer that hunt themselves! Oh look, a stripper who fits my incredibly weird fetish!" O_o?
I totally called the part with the dog, woo! I was thinking after last night's ep, What about the dog? Mandy Murphy's dog was supposed to die too. She died, did the dog die? Because if the dog lived, then that means that J.T. still has a chance of reversing his own murder without the universe collapsing or something. When Jessie heard the dog barking and suddenly realized hey, we don't know if the dog lived or not, I was like, "You go Jessie! Find out what happened to that mutt!" I am really impressed with the writing on this thing. So far, they seem to be covering everything, while keeping all the twists interesting. I have no real idea who is the biggest threat to J.T.'s life; all of the suspects seem to have a solid motive for J.T. to eliminate. Of course Roy is the most obvious person, which is why I don't think it will be him. I mean, sure, there's that scene where Roy is holding a gun to Claudia's head in part 4, but there's got to be more to it.
Anyway, I'm glad it's turning out to be good since I'm just watching it for Angus, and he's HARDLY IN IT.
It's been raining SO much here, I told my dad we need to get out the ark today. He immediately goes, "The one with the motor?" Hahaha! I love it when my dad is sharp and jumps on a joke like that. An ark with an outboard motor, haha. Vrrrrrrrrrooooommmmmm... now I just need two of every animal. Ehhh, too much trouble. ::throws the piggies on there and guns it::
The city I live in is on "higher ground" than some of the cities west of us, according to my dad, so the flooding would have to get really bad to swallow up our house. Some people are experiencing some really bad flooding right now. Mostly people who live right next to lakes. Big surprise, people. Anyway, yeah, lotsa rain. Oh, that thing I did with the dirt to keep the rain from coming in under the rug and flooding the living room, it's working great so far! I hope that continues. ^_^
