Most likely I won't be online much Monday because [livejournal.com profile] just_kaye is coming to visit me. Gee, I guess I should get all my socks off the couch so she has somewhere to sleep. That'd probably be a good idea. ;) And I need to get the cake mix out so we're all ready to bake it.

Progress on Skeet's site: currently working on the thumbnails for Nobody's Baby. The Starz Theatre Channel is showing the movie every day for the next week. Heaven help me, but I am really, really starting to like this movie. X_x The first time I saw it, I thought it was so stupid, but hey, one of my favorite sayings is that "People Like Crap." XD (Just witness the success of "Dragonball Z"!) I am no different. I enjoy Crap and take it to my heart often. It is totally okay to like Crap; everyone does, even if they don't admit it, because liking something often has nothing to do with social importance, but emotional resounance.

Skeet's character is just so earnest in it, it's endearing. Plus there was a part that I thought was very unlikely that made a lot more sense to me when I watched it the second time around; I couldn't really get what Billy (Skeet's character) was trying to buy from the used car dealer that would allow him to keep baby Loozy. But I got it this time - forged adoption papers. So I was able to get into the movie more this time. Parts of the ending actually made me weepy. Awwww, you gonna cry? XD I like all the colorful people who live in the trailer park where Billy stayed with the baby for a time. I'd love to live in a small community like that where everyone knows each other and hangs out, but still allows everyone else to live their own lives. I hated that most of the characters were separated in the end. Woops, I'm spoiling plot points. Oh well, it's not one of the bigger plot points, so I figure anyone who actually plans on watching it will forgive me.

It's not a "good" movie, but it is entertaining in a way; just depends on what you're looking for.
