Mar. 3rd, 2003 04:47 pmMy birthday was nice. Kaye came out here and we watched all kinds of stuff on tape. Then Sunday night, we drove all the way to Mesquite (more than a 40 min. drive) to a dollar theatre so we could see "The Ring" again. I enjoy long drives, and dollar theatres, and "The Ring," so it was fun! I only wish we could have gone sooner (time-wise, it just didn't work out) so we could have seen 2 movies in a row (that's always fun at the dollar theatre). When we got back, we watched "Audition" on tape. Very weird movie. Kinda scary in places, and very nice acting, but there were so many questions not answered. The director needs to learn about compressing time through editing, also. XD Soooo many slow scenes of people taking stuff out of folders and crap. Why do we need to see that? That can be implied. It was very artistic looking at certain points. I would have loved it if they had freakin' explained what was going on.
I really thought I was over my "Ring" fear. I'm sitting there thinking that I'm not going to have any nightmares tonight; this movie isn't scaring me at all. Then I get in bed to go to sleep, and I slept very fitfully. Kept waking up thinking that girl, Katie, was dead in my closet with her face looking like it did in the movie. ::cold chills:: I also kept dreaming that my body shook violently every time I snored, which would wake me up because it's just disturbing to dream of such a thing. It was like my dreams made my body think it was really happening. Blah. Hope I sleep better tonight.

It's really funny to hear other people's reactions to the moment when Samara comes out of the television. XD No one expects that. Everyone always gasps and then chatters to their movie mates about how much they didn't think that was going to happen. Hee. ^_^
"Miracles" is definitely supposed to come on tonight. ^___^ Skeetskeetskeet. ::drool::
