I'm going to post this before anyone asks. No, I did not get to vote in this election. I needed to renew my voter reg card after I moved, and I put it off because I wasn't sure if I was going to stay here. For a while, I thought I might even move at the very end of October. Then, when I finally realized I was stuck here and I finally thought about fixing everything, it was too late. Doh.
If the poll results are very, very close in Texas, and Obama loses, you all have permission to flog me for screwing up.
Either way, this is already a very exciting election. It's so close in so many states! Woo! I always found it really boring when one candidate soundly trounced the other.
Edit: Okay, technically, you all have the go-ahead to flog me, but listen to this first. Yes, McCain won Texas, and yes, it was about 52% to 48%. WOW. That close? In Texas? WOW. BUT, Obama trounced McCain in Dallas County. So, please not to hit. I'll do better next time. ^_^
I still remember going to vote in the 90's with my dad. He had a lot of trouble with the touch screen voting, hee. Old people and computers, what are ya gonna do.

I'm a cereal killer
May. 29th, 2008 04:37 amWarning, the following humorous(?) story could be gross to some.
I cooked myself a hamburger earlier tonight, but one side of it wasn't cooked as much as the other and was pretty bloody. I bit into it and juice and blood squirted ALL over the front of my shirt. XD I am serious, it looked like I had been through a slaughter house. I'm a cereal killer! Toucan Son of Sam! (too much Green Jelly)
Good thing it was an old shirt I don't care about.
I want a Cricut. But I'm not buying one because I know I'd hardly use it. It just looks fun to use.

I feel like such an idiot XD
Feb. 17th, 2003 08:22 pmTurns out my crappy vcr isn't broken after all. It's still crappy, but at least it works now. The problem was that one of those stupid Write n' Swipe labels that come in Sony 8-hour tapes got stuck to a tape, and when I put it in the vcr, the label came off inside it and blocked the loading mechanism! XD So it was all my fault all along for being unobservant. The vcr seems to be okay now.
