Until I get internet back at home, I'm not going to be able to go online every day. Too busy with the new job. Lately, I've only been able to read my friends page over the weekend. The last time I was online was Monday. It's amazing how much better it makes me feel to just spend some time online. I just went through 300 LJ posts. So, I may miss some things (especially on Facebook; it's kind of hard to slog back through hundreds of missed FB posts since after a while, FB starts fucking up). If I seemed to miss something you wanted me to see, please bring it to my attention. :)

Here I am, coming to you from beautiful downtown MY BEDROOM. \o/ No more McWifi for me! At least, it's working great as we speak. And it's FAST! I can watch Youtube videos again. The McWifi was so sloooooooooooooooooooooooow when it came to watching stuff on Youtube and playing my Facebook flash-based games like Farmville. It was almost like being on dial-up again. No more lugging the computer to McDonalds for limited internet time! WooHOO!!

Internet at home will not be hooked up until August 8th. I guess I've waited this long, I can wait another week and a half. The people at McDonalds are going to get real used to seeing my face, heheh. I'm just happy I have some way to get on the net at all until it can be hooked up here.

The news that makes me go >:( is that my brother will not be available to help me move my stuff into my new apartment until "the end of August at the earliest." Poop! Kinda hard to wait that long when I don't even have a TV here. Monday night, I made an expedition to my storage space that was only slightly successful. I was hoping to find my box of DVD's and another that has writing research binders in it, but both seem to be buried deep within the storage space. (They might be in my sister's garage; kinda hard to tell.) The thing is, the boxes in the storage locker are stacked so high that they go about six feet over my head, and many of them are turned with their labels in so I can't read what's in them. I'm afraid if I try to unstack the boxes that they'll all come down on my head - forget trying to restack them! So, I was only able to take a couple boxes that were in the front. One had some homemade DVD's in it, which was lucky for me. Now I at least have something to watch. I thought the other may have writing binders in it, but it turned out it was full of folders of old writing that could have waited. Still, I dragged them both home on my rolling cart, something I won't be doing again. It was too damn hot and the boxes too damn heavy; by the time I got home, my hands were so raw they were almost blistered and I was drenched in sweat. After I carried the second box up the stairs, my breathing became so labored that I scared myself. (I'm recovering from a flare up of bronchitis.) No matter how much I'd like to cart more boxes home on my own, I am just not up to it.

Currently I'm asking around to see if anyone knows anyone with a truck who can help me empty the storage space now, but I'm not holding my breath. I'll probably just have to wait. :P
