HAHA, first priests, now cops. All the costumes the Winchesters don to do their "jobs" just pile up and get funnier all the time.
( Cutting the rest because it could be spoilery )Rumors are flying at work. I don't want to make this extremely long, so I'll sum up: We have to pitch a free Wal-Mart giftcard at the end of most calls because Big Grey Dawg has a deal with Vertrue, just some company that runs one of those monthly programs where you get coupons for a monthly club fee. Grey Dawg has gotten EXTREMELY OBSESSIVE about us pitching this thing. They seem to care more about it than whether or not we sell tickets!! Rumors are flying that they are going to start *firing* people who do not make a daily quota of transfers to Vertrue, or who are caught not pitching Vertrue four monitors in a row. I can handle the monitor thing, because it's easy to tell when you are being monitored (your voice echoes in a VERY annoying manner). But the daily quota thing? If that one is true, I am toast. I never make 15 transfers in a day. Almost every person I pitch to says no. Truthfully, I need to pitch more, I got sick of it, and I still think it's corporate tool bullshit. But I can't make people agree to be transferred. I honestly don't think they'll do that one (or rather, I hope). I mean, okay, start writing people up, whatever. But quotas are wrong. I am NOT going to worry about it. It hasn't happened yet.
They really should spend more time writing people up for putting callers on HOLD so they can CHAT about random bullshit with their neighbor. That is RAMPANT and agents do it for stretches of five minutes at times; I've seen it! It's just BAD.
Okay, putting everyone on notice (the Skeeters): I am updating Skeeter Net right now with all the news about "Jericho." I will pimp this new news tomorrow night (or possibly right before bed tonight, though I highly doubt that) on all the Yahoo Groups and boards. It's getting late for me and I haven't eaten yet, and very much want to get offline.
Also, I will have a new "Miracles" fanfic to put up about the Mothman sometime soon, when the last of the betas comes in. For those who still read the stuff.
