\o/ and Supernatural 5.05

sailorhathorMy stove is finally back on! \o/ Too bad I had already eaten when we finally got the pilots lit. -_- But I can make stove food tomorrow for dinner. (DID YOU HEAR ME, KAYE'S PARENTS AND MY DAD? THE EVENING MEAL IS DINNER.) And the pilot for my big stove (not the burners) finally got relit too. It's been off for so long that I can't even remember how long. Some time ago they turned the gas off for some reason for a few hours and I don't know how to relight that one, and every time I poked them about it I'd get, "The maintainence people are too busy to come light it right now," and I eventually just gave up. I can bake cookies and have frozen pizzas again! ^___^
I believe I have also solved my screencap problem. I'm pretty sure that the reason why it would only take caps about every 15 seconds is because my computer has a slow processor. So, I noticed that there's a button to make the movie play slower. I slowed it down to about 1/4 speed and it's working! I got caps of about every moment I'd want a screencap of from one particular scene. Woot! Now I will time where every Skeet scene is in Scream just to make it easier, and do the rest of the movie. I've been wanting to replace the skeetcaps from Scream that I have on my site with better quality, bigger caps pretty much since I made them.

SPN 5.05
- This is one of those episodes that I liked because it had some funny moments, and some nice brother moments, but I don't think I'd watch it repeatedly or anything. It was okay.
- I loled at the entire scene with Dean under the car, freaking out that it was going to fall on him. And then suddenly, Sam pokes his head into the scene and goes, "You need a flashlight?" scaring the hell out of Dean. XD Reminded me of the episode of "The Simpsons" where Bart is afraid Sideshow Bob is going to kill him, so he's all tense, lying in his bed, and Homer keeps running in and yelling things, wielding weapons and making Bart scream. "HEYBARTYOUWANNASEEMYCHAINSAWANDHOCKEYMASK?" XD The only thing I didn't get is why Dean needed to take a rubbing of the car's numbers. Couldn't he just write them down?
- Dean has a computer now too! ^_^ Now he can use his own computer to look at bustyasianbeauties.com.
- All the monster people were fun. Monster Abe, monster Gandhi... the way Gandhi ran around like a crazy monkey was so silly!
- I was hoping Dean's hero would turn out to be, like, Jimmy Page and then we'd have MONSTER JIMMY PAGE! But some actor playing a young Jimmy Page.
- I was also hoping that we'd have wax figures coming to life. I know it's not an original idea, but it's a classic. Instead, another pagan god. :P Kind of a nice concept behind the god, but whatever. At least it wasn't another fucking shapeshifter.
- Paris Hilton cannot act. Her appearance was alright, but she doesn't know how to deliver lines very well. The whole thing with her sharpening her nails on the scythe got a little old after the first five times she did it. Still, it's pretty funny, Paris Hilton beating up two big guys.
- Another reference to one of Jared's movies, with Sam reacting to it. When are they going to reference one of Jensen's past works and have Dean react?
- I can understand both POV's on the issue of Dean treating Sam like a dumb little brother. I'm the youngest of my family and my sister and brother treat me like I'm an incompetent idiot all the time. It can be really annoying. On the other hand, I watched my brother's kids grow up and I still feel like I should hold their hands when we cross the street, even though they're both over 18 now. But Sam was right; Dean was going overboard with it.
- I liked that last scene where Dean and Sam got a lot of stuff out in the open. How they both fucked up with the seals but didn't do it on purpose because they didn't know they were breaking seals. I thought it was really nice for Dean to say that even though Sam broke a seal when he did it, it was still a good thing that he killed Lilith. Awww. :) I wuv me some loving Dean looking after his Sammy.
- Another great part: When Dean put on Abe's hat and went, "Four score and seven years ago..." and whatever he said about wearing a funny hat. That part made me laugh the hardest.
- Yay, headless Paris Hilton! Whenever the boys know they have to cut something's head off, they should wear rain slickers so the blood doesn't splatter all over their clothes. XD
- I think that's all I wanted to say. If I think of anything else, I'll add it.

- Is that Chad Everett playing Old!Dean? He used to be really famous back in the 70's and 80's. Cool! I loved how he was going up the stairs and got really tired. XD And he was wearing Young!Dean's clothes. I hope he tries to hit on some young chick; that'd be really funny.

It's raining pretty hard here right now and it keeps setting off some guy's car alarm. Turn the damn thing off for pete's sake! No one's out stealing cars on a night like tonight. How are they getting around, an ark?
