There will be comments about 11.07 and pictures under the cut, so SPOILERS.

What's up Doc? )

Overall, very good episode. I'm impressed they can still come up with fresh ideas in the 11th season.

I have some good news, but I'm too tired to type it all out right now. Hopefully, with all I've got to do over the next few days, I can make that post soon.

What programs do people most use to make animated gifs? I got this one screencapping program called Autoscreen which works pretty well, but it won't take frame by frame caps like I set it to. (Set it to take a cap each millisecond, it just couldn't keep up.) The latest version of VLC Media Player won't do autocaps because they changed all the settings. So what do people use now?

My stove is finally back on! \o/ Too bad I had already eaten when we finally got the pilots lit. -_- But I can make stove food tomorrow for dinner. (DID YOU HEAR ME, KAYE'S PARENTS AND MY DAD? THE EVENING MEAL IS DINNER.) And the pilot for my big stove (not the burners) finally got relit too. It's been off for so long that I can't even remember how long. Some time ago they turned the gas off for some reason for a few hours and I don't know how to relight that one, and every time I poked them about it I'd get, "The maintainence people are too busy to come light it right now," and I eventually just gave up. I can bake cookies and have frozen pizzas again! ^___^

I believe I have also solved my screencap problem. I'm pretty sure that the reason why it would only take caps about every 15 seconds is because my computer has a slow processor. So, I noticed that there's a button to make the movie play slower. I slowed it down to about 1/4 speed and it's working! I got caps of about every moment I'd want a screencap of from one particular scene. Woot! Now I will time where every Skeet scene is in Scream just to make it easier, and do the rest of the movie. I've been wanting to replace the skeetcaps from Scream that I have on my site with better quality, bigger caps pretty much since I made them.

SPN 5.05 Fallen Idols )

It's raining pretty hard here right now and it keeps setting off some guy's car alarm. Turn the damn thing off for pete's sake! No one's out stealing cars on a night like tonight. How are they getting around, an ark?

I am currently watching the SEXIEST MAN ON THE PLANET play a killer on "CSI: NY." Even when his hair's all messed up, he still looks AMAZING. Blah blah blah, crime scene investigation, yeah yeah, SHOW MORE SKEET.

I'm confused by the clips from next week's show. Isn't Skeet's arc supposed to last 3 episodes? Next week's ep doesn't look like it's about this same killer at all. STOP CONFUSING ME, MUST HAVE MORE SKEET. Must find out why Hollis is bawling over the 60's.

Anyway.

SKEET, BE ON "SUPERNATURAL" SO MY BRAIN CAN EXPLODE WITH THE TRIPLE THREAT OF HOTTNESS. WHAT A WAY TO GO.

No, really, I'm done now.

Still no gas for my stove. They didn't work on it at all Monday and Tuesday, I'm guessing because the manager hurt her leg and didn't come in those days. Whatever, I'm fed up, and went to the store to get a roast that I can cook in the crockpot. I love crockpot meat as much as Dean loves pie. Slow cooking makes it juicy and tender and *drools like Homer Simpson* The best part is I don't need my stove to cook it. So, I'm looking at roasts and I go to this one cold case and there's a sign on it that says, "Buy one get two free." O_o Really? I asked about it and the meat man said oh, I need to get you the coupon. Albertsons seriously has angus beef rump roast (suggestive!) on sale this week buy one, get two free! It's too good of a deal not to take advantage of it. One is in my crockpot right now, the other two are in the freezer. I'm going to gourge myself on grade A butt roast! \o/

The VCL Media Player is pissing me off. I'm so close to being able to use it to make screencaps, but it's not doing what I'm telling it to. I told it to make a screencap every second and tested it on Skeet's first scene in "Scream." It only takes a skeetcap whenever it feels like it, like maybe every 15 seconds. That is insufficient! I want a nauseating amount of caps to sort through, so I have a choice! So, I tried taking the caps manually, where you watch the scene, pause, take a cap you want, repeat. But that isn't working because it will only take them at 640x480 pixels, which is too small. Everything I've tried to make the caps bigger doesn't work. ARRRRGH! I'm going to search for more help and hopefully, I can find some instructions to fix this, because it's the only thing that I have that gets around Macrovision Encoding. God I HATE YOU Macrovision. You and your stupid yellow or purple lines, fucking up my lovely pictures. >:(

Oh, almost forgot the Trick or Treat Meme )

My opinion on 'Roadkill' )

I wish it would stop being hot outside until my A/C is turned on. :( Just stay in the 60's for a while, damnit. This isn't supposed to let up for at least the next week. Arrrrrghsohotandcranky.

All of you peeps who do pic spams and junk - I read somewhere that a person who does regular screencaps of the episodes had a program that would take the screencaps for them. Like, they'd tell it to screencap something and the program would take a still of every frame. Then later, they'd just delete all the extra pics they didn't need/like. This sounds like a very convenient way to cap something, much less time consuming than the way I do it now. (Pause, cap, save. Watch. Rewind. Pause...) Does anyone know what programs will do this?
