sailorhathorWho is the female newscaster on the Female Ice Skating events? I'm glad ice skating is over because she's driving me crazy. Everyone around you is pronouncing the skater's names right. It's Yu-na, You-nah. Do you not see the hyphen? Why do you insist on repeatedly calling her "Yuna"? Are you deaf? Do you not hear everyone else saying "Joannie" with a French flair? Yet you keep calling her "Joe-annie" like some hick. Once you hear others saying it properly, why don't you CORRECT your mistake? Quit making such an idiot of yourself and LEARN HOW TO SAY PEOPLE'S NAMES RIGHT or don't officiate, for christ's sake!
That's been bothering me SO MUCH.
I'm amused with the guy who stands up near where the skiers take off from and cheers very enthusiastically in a loud booming voice for *everyone*. At first I thought he was in one skier's camp until I heard him doing the same thing for the next skier. "Come on, go, Bodie Miller!" XD He cracks me up.
Last summer, we had the racing guy who practically screamed, "READY! SET!" in a really funny voice. This time around, we have the speed skating "Reeeeeeadyyyyy..." guy and the "ready" guy. They never get a normal person to say it. XD
